1. About HeadsUp
HeadsUp is a free public safety notification service operated by Vivere Advisors. It allows users to receive a single SMS alert when a specific individual is no longer listed in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility jail roster.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older and provide a valid US mobile phone number to use this service. By registering, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided.
3. SMS Consent & Opt-In
By completing phone verification, you consent to receive SMS messages from HeadsUp. These messages include:
- A one-time verification code (OTP) to confirm your phone number
- A confirmation message when your alert is activated
- A single release alert when the watched individual is no longer listed at YCDF
- A renewal reminder 7 days before your alert expires
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies per alert.
4. Opt-Out
You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from HeadsUp. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. You may also manage or cancel alerts at headsupmt.com/manage.
5. Data Accuracy
HeadsUp pulls roster data from the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office public jail roster approximately every 5 minutes. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. An alert does not confirm that an individual has been released — only that they are no longer listed in the public roster at the time of the check.
6. Limitation of Liability
HeadsUp is provided as-is, free of charge, as a public safety tool. Vivere Advisors is not responsible for any harm, loss, or damage resulting from use of or reliance on this service, including missed alerts, delayed alerts, or inaccurate roster data.
7. Privacy
Your phone number is encrypted at rest and is never sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
